- You will find a forgotten will to live and to move.

- You can save money for a pleasurable activity, as a vacation or a nice home asset.

Make a “quit smoking” journal

No one can make you do anything, except yourself. If you have a journal where you note down all your reasons and desires, you will have a place to return when you feel like giving up. Here you could be answering yourself some smoking related questions:

How did smoking affected and influenced your life so far?

Where does you life need improvement?

What can you do to change the home or work environment where everyone smokes?

Why does smoking give you pleasure?

What are the things you hate about cigarettes?

Who can support you if you quit?

What would you be gaining if you quit?

Choose the day you will be quitting

Decide on an early date. Be sure you pick a date before you have time to change your mind. Pick a period in which you know you won’t have many stressful factors to deal with. Make a program for the first few days. These are the hardest days and if you don’t have many responsibilities, you’d better choose either a few days off or some heavy days in which you know that because of the tight schedule you won’t have the time to think about cigarettes.

Some people might want to have lots of things to do during the first days. And some want to sleep. What to do during these few days is a thing we decide alone. If this resumes to simply laying for a few days in bed, do not hesitate. These few days you will experience sever addiction symptoms, but they will pass. It’s only part of the long process you need to go through if you want to return to living a normal life. In the end, you will become a normal un-addicted person who has hypnosis to quit smoking, that can be proud of his or hers accomplishment.
